Do I need a desktop computer or can I use my mobile?
We’ve designed Life Possum to work equally as well on a desktop, mobile or tablet to suit your needs. There is no app to install, just head to the website and login!
Do I need to be a Possum to use it?
We welcome all humans. After all, the requirements of a possum are quite simple in comparison!
Why not just store docs and info in files locally or in a cloud store ?
We’ve created Life Possum to not only store docs (although it’s great at doing that) but also to help you store key information that would otherwise be hidden away in the documents or may not be covered in a document at all. Want to check your insurance due date for example? Retrieve that info easily without hunting through documents. With Life Possum. your documents and info are stored in a guided and structured way – property by property, room by room, against decor and inventory items to name a few. You get all this on top of the standard features you expect from cloud storage – security, scaleability and protection from damage through fire and flood. Cloud storage is a step up from storing locally in a filing cabinet but we take things to the next level. We like to call it Possum Perfection!
What’s the obsession with Possums?
Glad you asked! We love possums because they’re the ultimate survivors — adaptable, clever, and always ready for anything. Just like them, Life Possum handles all kinds of property information without breaking a sweat. Whether it’s organizing, updating, or digging up what you need, we do it with possum-like resourcefulness. And just like those little night owls, we’re working around the clock to keep your data safe, secure, and always within reach. In short? Possums are pretty awesome — and so is your property information when it’s organized the Life Possum way!
How flexible is the system?
We don’t believe in telling you what to do. Therefore, we have worked hard to ensure that there are very few mandatory fields. You can enter as much or as little as you like and you don’t need all your info in one sitting. Of course, the more information you enter, the better assistance the system will provide but it’s totally your choice as to how much information you choose to store in Life Possum.
Why should I trust you with my information?
We take your privacy and security REALLY seriously. Team Possum pride ourselves on our levels of security to keep your information safe and also feel it is very important for you to understand how your information will be used and so have tried to make our application privacy policy as user-friendly as possible. In addition to our standard, comprehensive data safeguards, we offer optional extra protections—such as Two-Factor Authentication and enhanced image privacy—so users can tailor security features to their specific needs.
Will you introduce new features?
We have ideas for extending the system coming out of our oversized Possum ears and will always continue to enhance the system with new features. We are driven by our users and so if you have an idea or suggestion, you can submit it from within the app.
Can I use it outside of the UK?
There is no physical restriction on use outside of the UK but at this stage, the system is designed primarily for UK users but if you come across a data entry item that’s not appropriate to your region you can just skip it. If you live outside of the UK and are keen to see a version specifically designed for your region, please get in touch. The more requests we have from a region, the more our Possum-like whiskers twitch in your direction!
