🐾 The Team Possum Story 🐾

Life Possum started with a simple truth: managing a property shouldn’t feel like a second job. But for one of our founders, even buying a second home (without the chaos of selling!) quickly turned into a mess of paperwork, emails, forgotten logins, and mystery folders named “Important Stuff.”
Mortgage info in one inbox, supplier quotes in another, legal bits buried somewhere in the cloud… and don’t even ask about the renovation. Quotes, receipts, warranties — all turning up at the wrong time or not at all. Sound familiar?
Turns out, it wasn’t just us. Friends in the UK were just as frazzled. So were friends in Germany. Apparently, disorganised property admin speaks every language.
We looked around for a solution — something simple, smart, and designed for real people, not just property pros. But everything we found was either clunky or overcomplicated. So, we rolled up our sleeves, joined the Terminal Network incubator, and built what we needed ourselves: Property Possum.
But then we realised something bigger. The struggle wasn’t just with properties — it was with life. A family bereavement reminded us how hard it is to pull everything together when you need it most. So, we broadened our vision.
And just like that, Life Possum was born — here to help you keep your most important details, documents, and memories organised, accessible, and stress-free.
A Team with a Shared Vision
Life Possum isn’t just another tech tool – it’s built by a team of longtime friends who have known each other for over 20 years.
While we’ve all worked in different fields -spanning global data-driven systems, technical solution launches, compliance, cyber and data security, banking, and automotive – we share a common belief: technology should enhance people’s lives, not complicate them.
Furthermore, the we strongly believe technology and the tools we use should be FUN!

Life Possum Today
Life Possum was born to help people organise, protect, and access life’s most important details, starting with property. We’re still early in our journey, but one thing’s for sure: no one should have to dig through endless emails to find out which shade of blue they painted the living room.
And in the event of an unexpected disaster? Rest easy knowing that your most important information is safe, secure, and right where you need it.
Team Possum
Meet the team

Frank Schneider
CTO & Co-Founder
Frank is the kind of CTO who lives for a good technical puzzle—and occasionally forgets what time (or day) it is while solving one.
If there’s a gnarly issue lurking in the system, he’s already knee-deep in the logs, smiling. Security? He doesn’t just set it up—he fortifies it like a digital fortress.
He’s been in IT his whole life, but don’t even joke about handing him a Windows machine. He’d rather become a gardener (and he’s only half kidding). Around here, he’s the go-to for deep dives, clean refactors, and performance that actually performs.
Outside the code cave, Frank’s chasing horizons—on two wheels, under the sea, or from the cockpit of a plane.
His motto? “Everything is always possible.” Especially if there’s good coffee and root access.

Hanna Pettrup
Lead Developer & Co-Founder
Hanna runs on optimism, code, and a dangerously low blood sugar threshold.
As Lead Developer at Life Possum, she’s the glue between clean UI and clean commits—keeping things tidy, intuitive, and actually pleasant to use.
She’s the youngest on the team, the only woman in dev, and possibly answering your messages from a totally different continent. Working remotely hasn’t slowed her down—it just gives her better backgrounds on video calls.
She believes in team wins, beautiful interfaces, and the healing power of snacks.
Outside work, she’s chasing the next dive, trail, or passport stamp. Scuba gear one week, mountain bike the next.
Her motto? “Carpe Diem.” Unless she’s hungry—then it’s “Forgive me for what I said.”

Mark Hagger
COO/CFO & Co-Founder
Mark is our behind-the-scenes operator with a spreadsheet for everything—and we mean everything.
As COO/CFO, he’s the one keeping budgets tight, priorities sharp, and the roadmap realistic (kind of). He might not write code, but he’s the reason we build tech that makes sense for real people—not just developers.
He’s known for asking the questions no one else thinks of, diving into details most would miss, and keeping the team grounded in the world outside our codebase. Secret talent? The man can actually sing—though we’re still waiting for the demo tape.
Outside of work, Mark’s either hosting the perfect dinner, planning the next feature list over wine, or trying to explain to his friends what it is we actually do.
His influence? Let’s just say the backlog’s stacked until 2075. Maybe 2080, if Scott keeps “almost retiring.”

Scott Christie
CEO & Co-founder
Officially retired. Unofficially incapable of sitting still.
Scott is our CEO, strategist, and sprint-tagging wizard – forever chasing the perfect roadmap (and occasionally terrifying us with AI-generated possum portraits). He lives for balancing product vision with real-world needs, making sure we’re building something people actually want to use.
He’s got a background in IT, but don’t let that fool you—he’s way too chatty to stay in a dev seat. Consulting, product shaping, late-night brainstorming sessions? That’s more his thing. Just… don’t schedule anything before 9am. If he’s awake, it’s probably because he never went to bed.
When he’s not refining sprint boards or mapping the next ten years of feature ideas, Scott’s the one rallying the crew for a night out—and maybe even a dance floor takeover.
Life motto? “Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.”
Team motto? “Wait… is Scott still awake?”
